With just a few days left in January, Valentine’s Day is quickly approaching, and although some people have already planned and purchased all of their gifts, others are still unsure what their loved one would appreciate. If you’re looking for some inspiration, we’ve compiled a list of 6 unique gift ideas for him, her, and both of you.

For Her:

Morse code bracelet

If you’re weary of seeing engagement rings and heart-shaped jewelry as present ideas in these threads, here’s a unique piece of jewelry for your girlfriend, fiancée, or wife: a bracelet with Morse code.  It can be made of whatever material you desire, from a very simple and colorful bracelet made of thread and beads to a really delicate bracelet made of more expensive materials such as silver and gold if she likes that style. It’s also customizable, and it can say anything you want, from the typical “I love you” to more personal and meaningful phrases.

Bath bomb collection

A bath bomb collection may appear to be a modest and trivial present at first glance, but that is only true if you purchase her the conventional rose or vanilla ones. Look for more unique and exciting bath bombs, such as shark-shaped ones that turn the water red, toaster-shaped bath bombs, glazed donuts, succulents, and cupcakes. You can also get her a collection of fuzzing bombs that smell like cocktails if you want to be even more imaginative! A gin tonic, a mojito, or even a rose will be an excellent present for anyone.

For Him:

A vinyl player

If your man is into the classics, loves vintage items, and enjoys listening to music, a vinyl player is the best gift you can give him. They are surprisingly less expensive than you may anticipate, so such a present won’t break the bank and will yet make the man in your life extremely pleased. And if you know he doesn’t have any vinyl records yet, get him his first one, his favorite album, and this combo is guaranteed to melt his heart.

Swiss pocket knife

Seriously, not to promote the stereotype that men are just grown-up toddlers who enjoy playing with shiny objects, but a Swiss pocket knife simply cannot leave him indifferent.  In one compact pocket knife, you’ll find blades, can openers, screwdrivers, a small pair of scissors, and a number of other useful tools. A present like this is suitable for both city and country boys, since regardless where he lives there will always be something to repair, and he will have the opportunity to brag about his Swiss knife.

For both of you

Matching clothing

Although it may appear cheesy to some couples, receiving matching clothing as a Valentine’s Day gift will certainly brighten someone’s day. You can get matching pajamas, hoodies, or sweaters, such as authentic knit sweaters made in Ireland, which are currently quite fashionable in both women’s and men’s fashion. Get them in your favorite colors or a white one for a more neutral look, and you’ll look stylish and elegant not just when you’re together, but also when you’re wearing it by yourself.

Art class

If you’re looking for an experience to share on this special day rather than a material thing, an art class, even if none of you know how to paint, is a wonderful way of spending the lovers’ day.  These classes have been increasingly popular over the years, and you’ll almost certainly find at least one in your area. You can paint on paper, canvas, or even glass throughout the session, and you’ll take your art creation home at the end. Don’t worry about how wavy your lines are or how your chosen colors mismatch; instead, enjoy your time together and turn it into a memorable experience.
